I saw Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Laguna Playhouse) and loved it, but apart from Simon and a few others ... no wonder theater is in the doldrums. Where is the drama in drama? The laughs in comedy? A lot of the new stuff is bad television. Just becuase you have some loser assaulted by life, you don't have a play. PLOT PLOT PLOT! Drama is about choice!
