Screenwriter here. I've written seven spec screenplays, multiple genera. I do my query letters and I'm good at it! I get responses. I get readings. I get thanks, but no thanks!

I just can't get an agent interested. Do I go direct? I'm worried my stuff will be stolen. And the few times I've tried the majors, they send my letters back unopened or with a note they don't even LOOK at unsolicited material.

Where to now, folks?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Enemy of the People at the Taper. Outstanding.

I saw a production at Laguna Playhouse a few years ago. Very different. Different translation. Different approach.

Protagonist is draker here. More complex. Well worth seeing.
