I must agreee with priscilla. To add serious dimension to a character in a flat Stanley script would only serve to make this movie appear disjointed. Keep it light and simple. Maintain the little intergrity that the script has to offer.

Having attended David Trottier's screenwriting seminars and subsequently landing an option, I can vouch for his style and substance. Screenwriter's Bible, 3rd Ed. is now out, and I recommend it to anyone just getting started or needing a refresher course.
