Thanks, mom. I love you too!
Anyway, get on over to the Camino Real Playhouse Friday or Saturday night (June 26 or 27) to catch the last performances of Jill Forbath Roden's "Six at Eight". Winners of the 5th Annual West Coast 10-minute Playwriting Contest are staged along with three other 10 minute plays.
Jill's contest continues to be a kick and the performances, as usual, are stellar.
While the entire cast should be complimented, Tony Grande makes a perfect curmudgeon with depth as Clifford in "Gene Tierney's Hat. And the verve with which he invests a single line in "Compost in the Machine" makes the night. Also particularly engaging were Leslie Williams, Charlie DeNatale, and Brian Page.
"Mrs. Sorken" "The Role of Della" and "Flop Cop" are reflections of theatre from the shards of a broken mirror -- various perspectives with razor sharp edges.
Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in this wonderful evening.

Thanks to all the members of the writers' group who pitched in for the theatre fund raiser. We had fun and we also got one step closer.
Thanks!
